When you can discuss any concerns about your child and ask any questions you may have.

Initial Assessment Session

£145

The initial assessment will last around 1-1/2 hours and take place in the most suitable environment for your child. Either in the comfort of your home or at your child’s educational setting. From this assessment, a programme will be written. This can be carried out by a Speech and Language Therapy Assistant, school or parents.

Therapy Sessions with an Assistant

£45 per session

If therapy with an assistant is appropriate, they will work to a plan devised by their link therapist. The number and frequency of sessions will be discussed with you. The sessions can take place in your home or your child’s educational setting.

These sessions will last approximately 45 minutes to an hour and will include;

Face to face therapy, working on targets.

Feed back to parents / school staff demonstrating any activities they will be carrying out.

All preparation, planning and record keeping.

Materials and resources needed for session and for home practice.

Therapy Sessions with a Therapist

£80 per session

After your initial assessment it may not be clinically appropriate for an assistant to deliver all your child’s therapy. We will advise you on how their therapy journey would will look and the number of sessions needed to be delivered by a therapist

These sessions will last approximately 45 minutes to an hour and will include;

Face to face therapy working on targets

Feedback to parents / school staff demonstrating any activities they will be carrying out.

All preparation, planning and record keeping.

Materials and resources needed for session and for home practice.

Review by Speech and Language Therapist

£100 per session

When a child is seen regularly by a Speech and Language Therapy Assistant , they will need reviews by a therapist to reset targets. The frequency of these will vary and will be matched to your child’s specific needs.

Initial Assessment by a Student Speech and language Therapist

£95 per session

At Core we have a Student Therapist , she is able to offer Assessments and Therapy Sessions . Under the supervision of a registered Speech and Language Therapist.

Therapy by Student Therapist

£60 per session

Admin

Additional resource making by a Therapist or an Assistant £30 an hour

Report after Initial Assessment £60

Additional admin e.g., reports to support EHCP / statement for DLA. Costs will be discussed on an individual basis .

Phone Calls

During treatment are free up to 10 minutes.

Travel

Travel is costed at 45p a mile.

Parking

Parents are required to pay any parking costs.
